Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eugeny Lapik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Last Man Standing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eugeny Lapik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Miller! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miller's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Miller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lapik's corner is telling him to maintain position.
 Eugeny Lapik has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Lapik closes the distance and pushes Miller back into the cage.
Lapik breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lapik closes the distance and clinches.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Miller looking to stall.
Miller tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lapik smiles and moves away.
Miller takes one on the button.
Lapik drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lapik scoring with punches from side control. Lapik taking a breather here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller can't do much from the bottom here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lapik lands a few punches from side control. Lapik controlling the position from side mount. You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Miller closes the distance and clinches. Miller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lapik has him pressed against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Miller's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lapik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Miller instigates a clinch. Miller is trying to break free. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lapik is defending well.
Lapik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight moves into the clinch position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Eugeny Lapik dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lapik gets a takedown into half guard. Lapik seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Lapik drops an elbow to the side of Miller's head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lapik is controlling the pace.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lapik works his way into full mount! Lapik controlling the position easily from mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lapik with shots to the head and body - Miller looks very uncomfortable down there. Lapik with a couple of short strikes. Miller slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Lapik landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lapik is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lapik perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lapik scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still in half guard, Lapik seems content to control. Miller is breathing heavily. Lapik seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Lapik working Miller over with strikes. Lapik landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lapik is taking a breather. Miller says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lapik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lapik moves into full mount! Miller won't be happy about that! Lapik controlling from the full mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lapik seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Miller for as long as he can get away with. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Eugeny Lapik dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Lapik rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage. Miller is trying to pull guard but Lapik has him pressed against the cage. Miller changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lapik fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lapik manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Miller on his heels. He'll look to pass Miller's guard now, I'm sure. Miller being controlled here, momentarily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lapik working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Miller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lapik controls the pace.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Miller enables Lapik to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Miller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lapik not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Miller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lapik is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miller can do to turn this around? Lapik is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Eugeny Lapik wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Lapik gets a clinch.
Lapik decides to pull guard.
Miller throws a sloppy strike and Lapik has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Miller is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Lapik!
