Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Nasri!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miller wants it to stay on the feet.

and Nasri counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Miller's guard now.
Nasri controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Nasri seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alex Nasri hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Miller tries to clinch up but Nasri circles away and keeps his distance.

Nasri shoots in looking for a takedown but Miller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nasri's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nasri is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nasri is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Nasri decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Miller throws a head kick but Nasri moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miller is defended easily by Nasri.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Nasri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nasri throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Nasri finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alex Nasri showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nasri shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
tj Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nasri shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense.
Miller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nasri shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Nasri keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nasri quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Nasri but it's paid off an Miller is forced to tap! Nice work by Nasri.
