Diaz lands with a nice body punch.
Sanchez takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Diaz stuffs the takedown.
Diaz scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Diego Sanchez has been cut.
Diaz lands a left and a right that send Sanchez crashing to the mat, dazed. Diaz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sanchez is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanchez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diaz's waist but Diaz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanchez off to one side.
Oh Sanchez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanchez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diaz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Diaz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sanchez. Sanchez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sanchez shoots in but Diaz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Diaz lands a big right hook! Sanchez looks hurt but is still standing! Diaz lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Sanchez falls down and Diaz dives in with a huge hammer fist! Sanchez's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Diaz runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
