2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Rodriguez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Westwood! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodriguez moves in looking to clinch but Westwood pushes him off. Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch but Westwood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rodriguez tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Westwood counters with a nice double leg into guard. Rodriguez wants to stand but Westwood is controlling the position. Westwood won't allow Rodriguez to sweep him here. Westwood trying to control the position from guard on top but Rodriguez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Westwood is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Westwood loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Westwood slips nicely into half guard. Rodriguez lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Westwood thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Westwood trying to mount his opponent but Rodriguez defends it.
Westwood is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rodriguez preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Westwood in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Rodriguez tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Westwood!
