Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Eliasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jonas Eliasson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie has his takedown stuffed
and Eliasson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Eliasson throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely.
Eliasson lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Eliasson circles away easily
and Eliasson counters with a left to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie fails with the takedown
and Eliasson counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eliasson just misses with a punch to the body.
Eliasson throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Eliasson lands a jab to Gracie's midsection.
Gracie shoots and misses
and Eliasson counters with a crisp one two that drops Gracie! Eliasson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gracie to his feet! Gracie is in big trouble!
Gracie is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eliasson lands a big right hook! Gracie looks hurt but is still standing! Eliasson lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Gracie falls down and Eliasson dives in with a huge hammer fist! Gracie's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Eliasson runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jonas Eliasson!
