Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Earnie Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Earnie Dingo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Gee! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dingo tries to clinch there but Gee circles away.
Gee blocks the body kick.
Dingo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gee backs up against the cage.
Dingo moves into the clinch. Dingo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gee prevents it.
Gee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Gee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Gee manages to break the clinch.
Gee tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dingo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gee's guard now. Gee trying to control the position.
Dingo wants to pass the guard but Gee is keeping the position. Gee looking to control.
Dingo throwing strikes but missing. Gee wants to sweep here but Dingo controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gee is trying to control the position but Dingo postures up. Dingo looking to pass the guard. Dingo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dingo throws a leg kick but Gee checks it. Gee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A head kick misses from Dingo. Gee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dingo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dingo pinned against the cage. Dingo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gee circles away from the clinch attempt and Gee counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gee is looking to stand up but Dingo won't let him. Dingo looking for a guillotine here but Gee defends easily.
Dingo is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gee stands up from guard. Let's bang! Gee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dingo's waist but Dingo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gee off to one side. Dingo just misses with a punch to the body.
Dingo lands a right hook to the body.
Dingo misses with a low kick.
Dingo throws a right and a left that both miss. Dingo tries to close the distance and clinch but Gee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dingo misses with a series of wild punches.
Gee gets caught flat footed, as Dingo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Gee is trying to keep Dingo in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dingo. Dingo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dingo trying to control but Gee is working from the bottom. Gee trying to strike off his back.
Dingo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dingo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gee pinned against the cage. Gee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dingo misses with the combination.
No joy there for Dingo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dingo throws a one two combo.
Dingo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Earnie Dingo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dingo. Gee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gee showed some decent athleticism there. Gee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Gee controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dingo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gee is trying to control the action in half guard but Dingo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nick Gee will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Gee slips a jab from Dingo. Dingo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gee misses with a series of wild punches.
Dingo wants to clinch up but Gee keeps it at a distance. Dingo tries to clinch up. Gee scores a takedown into full mount! Dingo tries to reverse the position but Gee maintains control. Gee controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dingo is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gee content just to control the position here. Dingo is in a horrible position here. Gee smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gee lands a big elbow. Gee is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dingo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gee controlling from mount. Dingo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Gee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Gee landing punches. Gee wants to control the pace but Dingo is squirming around nicely. Gee content just to control the position here. Dingo is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dingo working to try and regain half guard.
Dingo sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gee connects with a nice short shot to Dingo's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dingo's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gee prevents Dingo from improving his position. Gee decides to return to a standing position. Excellent takedown into side control there by Gee. Dingo tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dingo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Dingo wants to control but Gee is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dingo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dingo. Gee postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Gee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Dingo has his takedown stuffed and Gee counters with a one-two to the body. Dingo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dingo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gee is trying to get back to full guard. Dingo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gee defending well though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gee can do anything to dispel that myth. Dingo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Dingo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gee's head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dingo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gee has one foot on Dingo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Dingo wants to clinch. Dingo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gee counters with a takedown into side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Dingo wants to control but Gee postures up. Dingo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gee's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dingo is trying to get back to full guard. Dingo trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dingo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dingo tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Dingo is not content to let Gee control the position. Gee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Gee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dingo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dingo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gee's guard. Gee is positioning himself well to prevent Dingo advancing to mount. Gee is trying to maintain the position but Dingo is very close to passing his half guard. Gee misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Dingo works his way into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gee throws Dingo to one side and escapes! Dingo throws a series of punches but Gee avoids them all with ease. Earnie Dingo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gee connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Gee lands a jab-cross combination. Earnie Dingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dingo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dingo is rocked! Dingo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Dingo throws out a powerful jab. Dingo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gee. Gee clinches up with Dingo and pushes him back against the cage. Gee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dingo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gee moves into the clinch. Gee swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Earnie Dingo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dingo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dingo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Nick Gee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
