Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dastan Yergali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silco Deans!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yergali shoots in but Deans avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Deans lands a nice hook to Yergali's body. Yergali takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Deans fails to land with a series of punches.
Yergali moves forwards but Deans connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Dastan Yergali has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Deans. Those never looked like landing.
Deans tries to bum rush Yergali with a series of wild strikes but Yergali uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Deans lands a big head kick that sends Yergali tumbling to the mat! Deans takes a step backwards and waves Yergali back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yergali shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Deans as he jumps to the side.
Yergali misses with a series of wild punches.
Oooooh!!! Deans has knocked Yergali down with a huge combo! Deans steps away and waves a wobbly Yergali back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Dastan Yergali's cut is getting worse.
Yergali slips a jab and a cross from Deans.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Deans misses with a series of wild punches.
Yergali dives in and grabs Deans's left leg, looking for a takedown. Deans pushes down on Yergali's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dastan Yergali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Deans turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Deans shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yergali eats them both and turns towards Deans to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Deans misses with a series of wild punches.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Deans knocks Yergali out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
