Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Estep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Tebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Estep comes to the cage accompanied by Courageous. Tebow has chosen Tim Tebow's Fire as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Estep! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Tebow! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tebow misses with a low kick.
Estep closes the distance and pushes Tebow back into the cage. Estep pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Estep gets in close and instigates a clinch. Estep wants a takedown.
Tebow looking to throw knees to the head but Estep is blocking nicely.
Tebow taking a breather. Estep wants the takedown. Tebow is fighting it off but Estep persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tebow's guard against the cage. Estep slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Tebow wants to stand and escape but Estep is having none of it. Tebow trying to keep a closed guard but Estep is proving a slippery customer.
Estep decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tebow, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Estep misses with a hook. Tebow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A right-left combo lands from Tebow. Tebow throws a sloppy head kick and Estep moves out of range easily. Tebow tries a head kick but it misses.
Estep shoots for a double leg takedown but Tebow sprawls well. He's pushed Estep's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tebow misses with a two punch combination.

and Estep counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tebow's guard now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Estep loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Tebow is in trouble now - Estep has advanced to mount! Estep controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Estep pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Tebow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Estep. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Estep takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Estep fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Estep lands with some strikes. Tebow is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Estep controlling his opponent. Estep landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Estep avoids the attempt from Tebow to control. Estep controlling from the full mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Tebow tries to lock up and control but Estep gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Estep sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tebow is in all sorts of trouble here.

Estep tries to bum rush Tebow with a series of wild strikes but Tebow uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Estep dives in and grabs Tebow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tebow pushes down on Estep's head and hops out. Estep looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tebow tries to clinch but Estep moves out of range. Tebow lands a jab to Estep's midsection. Tebow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Estep. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tebow lands with a nice combination. Estep backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Brian Estep has been cut. Tebow attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Estep shoots for a double leg takedown but Tebow sprawls well. He's pushed Estep's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fight stays on the outside here - Tebow looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tebow moves in looking to clinch but Estep pushes him off. Estep shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tebow but Tebow pushes him off and we're back to square one. A slapping body kick lands there for Tebow. Tebow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tebow pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Estep back to the cage. Tebow follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Brian Estep is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tebow misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tebow throws a push kick but Estep slaps the foot to one side. Tebow scores with a hook to the body. Estep takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tebow throws a head kick but Estep moves out of range.
The crowd cheers as Tebow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Estep doesn't seem phased though. Tebow tries to land a front kick but Estep steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Tebow tries to score with a low kick but Estep moves his leg out of the way. Tebow misses with a body kick. Estep looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tebow is fending him off so far but Estep persists. Nope, Tebow circles away and we're back to standing.

Estep tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tebow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Estep somewhat. Tebow throws a head kick but Estep moves out of range.

Tebow fails in his attempt to clinch. Tebow throws a nice looking combination but Estep bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Tebow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brian Estep's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Tebow stuffs the takedown attempt from Estep. Estep gets slowly back to his feet. Estep shoots for a takedown but Tebow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A right-left combo lands from Tebow. Tebow scores with a jab to the body. Tebow scores with a nice body kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tebow wants to clinch up but Estep keeps it at a distance. Tebow throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tebow, right into the meat.

Estep is rocked! Tebow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
