Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ukobach Hasmal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Lola!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasmal takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lola misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hasmal counters with a nice body kick.
Lola missing with a left hand there. Hasmal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Don Lola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lola throws a series of punches but Hasmal moves out of range.
Hasmal ducks under a wild hook from Lola.
Hasmal misses with a head kick.
Lola throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hasmal slips under a jab.
Nice body punch from Lola.
Lola looks to score with a jab to the body but Hasmal is just out of range.
Hasmal lands a big head kick that sends Lola tumbling to the mat! Hasmal takes a step backwards and waves Lola back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Don Lola has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lola on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hasmal. Hasmal obviously looking to wear him down.
Lola fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lola. Hasmal does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hasmal lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lola takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hasmal lands a nice hook to Lola's body. Lola takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lola looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lola throws a jab when Hasmal was well out of range.
Lola takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hasmal moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hasmal has managed to clinch.
Good body shot from Hasmal.
Lola jumps guard but Hasmal turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hasmal creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hasmal lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hasmal will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lola up against the cage.
Hasmal lands a body punch in the clinch.
Hasmal tries a body shot but Lola blocks it.
Hasmal pushes Lola back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Hasmal lands a shoulder strike.
Lola misses with a body punch.
Hasmal throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hasmal lands a hook that snaps the head of Lola backwards.
Hasmal breaks the clinch.
Hasmal looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hasmal backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Lola's temple! It sends Lola violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hasmal celebrates and the doctors try to help Lola!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Ukobach Hasmal!
A relieved looking Ukobach Hasmal thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
