Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juwan Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyro Pipes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Why you asking all them questions? blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyro Pipes! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson closes the distance and clinches. Johnson gets underhooks to prevent Pipes's takedown attempt.
Pipes turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pipes manages to end up in side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pipes working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Johnson is trying to control Pipes's posture but Pipes avoids it. Johnson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Pipes sits in half guard. Pipes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well. Johnson trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to buck Pipes off but he can't manage it. Pipes avoids the attempt from Johnson to control. Johnson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pipes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pipes wants to finish this one by submission but Johnson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pipes. Johnson wants to hold on but Pipes pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson regains half guard. Johnson is trying to control but can't.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Juwan Johnson. Johnson drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Johnson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pipes's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Juwan Johnson will probably get the nod. That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pipes shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pipes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Johnson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Pipes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Johnson throws an elbow that misses. Pipes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Johnson's guard. Nice move by Pipes!
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Juwan Johnson just wasn't active enough. Johnson has managed to clinch.
Johnson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Pipes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Johnson is wriggling around but Pipes manages to pass to half guard.
Johnson is staying active underneath Pipes, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pipes prevents Johnson from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is looking to control Pipes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Johnson avoid being mounted? Pipes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working. Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Johnson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson gets full guard. Pipes engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kyro Pipes wasn't active enough on the ground. Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juwan Johnson dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
A head kick misses from Johnson. Johnson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pipes on his heels. He'll look to pass Pipes's guard now, I'm sure. Johnson wants to control from the top but Pipes keeps moving. Johnson wants to stand and escape but instead Pipes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Pipes stays in close to Johnson's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pipes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Johnson tries to buck Pipes off but Pipes is having none of it. Johnson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Pipes is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Johnson is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Juwan Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pipes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Johnson is surviving well by controlling Pipes's body position as best he can. Johnson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pipes wants to control the pace but Johnson is squirming around nicely. Johnson is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to hold on but Pipes pushes him away. Johnson has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Pipes's lack of action.

Juwan Johnson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Juwan Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
