Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Mitro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikko Mitro could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Mitro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Johnson! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws a series of punches but Mitro moves out of range. Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mitro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mitro off to one side. A punch combination from Johnson misses. Mitro misses with a body kick. Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss. No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
Mitro drives through with a takedown into guard. Mitro prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mitro wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position. Mitro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Mitro from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mitro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mitro trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson looks gassed! Mitro gets to his feet - Johnson follows without any prompting. Mitro slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Mitro gets the takedown into side control. Mitro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Mitro works to advance to full mount. Johnson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Mitro moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Johnson has worked his arm free - good work by Johnson!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson is pushing Mitro's head away, looking to escape. Mitro manages to hold on to the position though. Mitro trying to control the position but Johnson is working away. Mitro passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Johnson! Mitro is stalling here but it's allowed Johnson to get half guard.
Johnson is trying to escape back to his feet but Mitro uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Mitro advances nicely into full mount. Johnson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Johnson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mitro locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Johnson is forced to tap!
