The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rimmer counters with a nice uppercut.
Rimmer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Thiago Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves throws a jab when Rimmer was well out of range.
Rimmer ducks under a wild hook from Alves.
Alves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rimmer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Alves throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rimmer counters with a right hand to the body.
Rimmer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rimmer throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Alves colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Rimmer as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Alves is left battered and dazed whilst Rimmer and his camp cheer!
