Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalashnikov comes to the cage accompanied by Leningrad Cowboys - Those Were The Days . Kingsley is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Power. The key to victory for Vadim Kalashnikov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vadim Kalashnikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Kingsley! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalashnikov thuds his shin into the meat of Kingsley's side. Kalashnikov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kingsley's calf. Kalashnikov jabs Kingsley to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kalashnikov lands a head kick!
Kalashnikov connects with an inside leg kick. Kingsley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kalashnikov finds it's way round the side to connect with Kingsley's head. Kalashnikov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kingsley moves away. Nice jab there from Kalashnikov. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingsley gets the takedown into side control. Kalashnikov taking punishment in the form of punches.
Kingsley in side control, throwing shots but Kalashnikov defends. Kingsley wants to take a breather but Kalashnikov manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Kingsley.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingsley scoring with punches to the head and body. Kalashnikov is controlling Kingsley's posture. Kingsley trying to control the position from guard on top but Kalashnikov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kalashnikov controls Kingsley momentarily but Kingsley frees himself. Kingsley is looking to stand up but Kalashnikov won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kingsley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kalashnikov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kalashnikov tries to get out of the position. Kingsley trying to control but Kalashnikov is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kingsley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kalashnikov scores with a decent looking hook. Kalashnikov scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Vadim Kalashnikov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kingsley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kingsley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kalashnikov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kingsley somewhat. Kalashnikov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kalashnikov looks to land a right hand but Kingsley moved out of range. Kalashnikov lands a leg kick that knocks Kingsley off balance momentarily. Kalashnikov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kingsley ducks under a wild hook from Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Robert Kingsley has been cut. Kalashnikov cracks Kingsley with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kalashnikov, right into the meat.
Kalashnikov scoring well with a low kick there.
Kalashnikov looks to throw the jab but Kingsley is out of range. Kalashnikov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kalashnikov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A chopping leg kick lands by Kalashnikov. Kingsley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kingsley walks into a stiff left hand from Kalashnikov. Kingsley drops his hands momentarily and Kalashnikov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kalashnikov stuns Kingsley with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kingsley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kingsley looks gassed! Kalashnikov with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kingsley's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kalashnikov connects with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vadim Kalashnikov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Robert Kingsley's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kalashnikov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kingsley looks for a takedown but Kalashnikov sprawls well. Kingsley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kalashnikov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Kalashnikov as Kingsley shoots in. Vadim Kalashnikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Kingsley. Kalashnikov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kalashnikov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kalashnikov here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Kingsley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kalashnikov but Kalashnikov pushes him off and we're back to square one. A nice inside leg kick there by Kalashnikov. That's going to slow Kingsley down. Vadim Kalashnikov is winning the standup battle so far. Kingsley is breathing heavily. A thudding body kick lands there by Kalashnikov!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingsley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kalashnikov, right into the meat.
Kalashnikov lands a jab to Kingsley's midsection. Kalashnikov connects with a solid leg kick. Kalashnikov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kingsley momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kalashnikov throws a nice inside leg kick. Kalashnikov lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Kalashnikov scores with a jab to the body. Kalashnikov chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalashnikov lands with a shot to the body. A slapping leg kick lands for Kalashnikov.
Kalashnikov cracks Kingsley with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That has opened up Robert Kingsley's cut even more. Vadim Kalashnikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice leg kick lands there from Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kingsley ducks right into an uppercut from Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov throws a nice inside leg kick. Kalashnikov explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kalashnikov scores with a sloppy right hand. Kingsley should have avoided that one.
Kingsley is rocked!
The cut above Robert Kingsley's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Crack! Kalashnikov connects with the perfect overhand right and Kingsley falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Kalashnikov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vadim Kalashnikov! After winning the bout, Vadim Kalashnikov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
