Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shaq Double J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shaq Double J! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Lite! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Double J tries to clinch up. Lite lands a two punch combo.
Lite throws a head kick that misses. Double J moves in looking to clinch but Lite pushes him off. Double J showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lite.
Horrible takedown by Double J or perhaps it was just good defense by Lite which made him look bad. Double J throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lite's waist but Lite gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Double J off to one side. Lite closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lite misses with the ground and pound. Double J gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Double J keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lite looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Lite lands with some strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Double J takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Double J is rocked! Double J working to try and regain half guard.
Double J gets back to half guard. Double J is trying to get back to full guard. Double J is not content to let Lite control the position. Double J is trying to get back to full guard. Lite tries to pass the half guard into mount. Double J knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Double J on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Double J tries to get out of the position. Double J punching from the bottom.
Lite moves nicely into side control. Double J is looking to regain half guard here but Lite keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Double J is breathing heavily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Lite looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Lite scoring with some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lite's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Double J lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Lite pushing down on Double J's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, if Lite is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Double J flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Double J tries to roll over but Lite keeps him under control. Lite tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lite trying to control the action but Double J is working from the bottom. Double J throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Double J tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lite paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lite scores with a three punch combo!
Nice uppercut lands for Lite. That snapped Double J's head back.
Lite lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Oh Double J is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lite tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Double J tries to clinch but fails miserably and Double J takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Lite connects with the punch. Lite is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Lite throws a right and a left that Double J avoids nicely. Double J fails with the takedown and Lite counters with a series of strikes. Double J will be more careful next time no doubt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaq Double J. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lite looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Double J striking from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lite wants to stand up but Double J manages to regain full guard. Double J seems to have got his legs back now. Lite stopping the sweep attempt from Double J. Double J has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lite is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Double J. Lite wants to lay and pray for a moment but Double J keeps working. Double J regains half guard. Double J makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Double J. Double J might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Double J throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Double J scores with a nice shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Lite dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Double J darts in trying to clinch and Lite counters with a lovely straight right hand! Double J darts in trying to clinch and Lite counters with a series of strikes. Double J will be more careful next time no doubt. Double J closes the distance looking to clinch and Lite connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A left and a right from Lite both land. Nice combination. Double J throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Double J misses with a hook. Lite throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lite circles away from the clinch attempt and Lite counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lite. Lite wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lite lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Double J backwards. Lite wants to break free but Double J has control.
Lite wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lite wants to get back to striking at distance but Double J won't allow it.
Lite prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lite has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Double J is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lite is breathing heavily. Lite breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lite circles away from the clinch attempt and Lite counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lite. Lite gets underhooks to prevent Double J's takedown attempt.
Lite breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Lite, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Double J throws a body kick that misses. Double J takes one to the side of the head.
Lite throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Double J. Lite circles away from the clinch attempt and Lite counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Lite fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Double J wants to clinch but Lite slips to the side and Lite cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mark Lite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Double J wants to clinch and Lite counters with a three punch combo that has Double J backing up. Double J nods at Lite to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Double J scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Double J advances to mount. Double J landing punches. Double J swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lite is now in Double J's guard. A big mistake from Double J there, giving up the dominant position! Lite pushes down on Double J's leg and manages to get into half guard. Double J moves into full guard.
Lite controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lite wants to stand and escape but instead Double J has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Double J stands up over Lite, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lite manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Double J is in a horrible position here. Lite smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Double J takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Lite has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Double J's face.

Lite lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lite takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Double J is working to get back to half guard.
Lite can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Double J is looking to escape. Double J has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Double J in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Lite looking to control but Double J is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lite controlling from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lite cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lite dominating with strikes here. Lite is working for a guillotine from mount but Double J frees his head quite easily.
Double J sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Double J is looking for a sweep. Lite is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lite working over Double J with some ground and pound. Double J looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Lite showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Double J shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lite pinned against the cage. Lite gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Double J closes the distance looking to clinch and Lite counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lite connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A right-left combo lands from Lite. Lite getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Double J on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Double J darts in trying to clinch and Lite counters with a nice uppercut. Lite fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Double J, pushing him back against the cage. Lite digs a right hand into Double J's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Double J's gas tank. Lite lands with a short shot to the head. Lite breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Double J tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lite counters by moving into the clinch. Double J is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lite is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Double J to the mat. Double J regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lite trying to control but Double J is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Double J wants to sweep here but Lite controlling him for the moment. Double J throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Mark Lite has got the better of the ground game so far. Double J is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lite passes easily into side control. Nice work. Double J is looking for a sweep. Check out the look on Lite's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Double J tries to strike but it doesn't land. Lite wants to control but Double J is keeping him busy. Lite controls the position from side control. Double J tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Double J is not content to let Lite control the position. Double J is looking to regain half guard here but Lite keeps moving and retains side control. Lite decides to stand back up. Lite steps back and let's Double J get back to his feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Lite darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Double J takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lite bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Double J's head. Lite throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lite looks to land a combination but Double J avoids it well. Double J looks for the body kick but Lite saw that one coming. Double J looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Lite shoots in but no luck this time. Double J throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lite counters with a nice double leg into side control. Double J won't be happy with that. Lite moves into full mount! Lite lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Double J is looking to improve his position but Lite isn't that keen on the idea. Lite trying to control but he's not successful this time. Double J manages to regain half guard. Good work. Lite wants to pass the guard but Double J is defending well. Double J wants to improve his position but Lite is controlling well.
Double J is working hard here to advance position. Shaq Double J has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Double J trying to control from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lite connects with a looping right hand.
Double J gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lite trying to control the position from guard on top but Double J is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lite looking to pass the guard. Lite wants to control from the top but Double J keeps moving. Lite passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Double J is trying to get back to full guard. Lite stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Double J to get to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Lite comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lite has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
