Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kassius Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Fedor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kassius Miller!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fedor shoots for a takedown but Miller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fedor fails with the takedown.
Miller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Miller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fedor to the mat! Fedor manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Fedor throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Miller escapes and throws Fedor's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Fedor is looking for a sweep.
Fedor is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fedor manages to get back to half guard.
Fedor wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.
Miller winds up and cracks Fedor with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Miller missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Miller stops Fedor from getting back to his feet.
Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fedor gets full guard.
Fedor looking to control but Miller passes into half guard.
Fedor scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Miller manages to mount him!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Miller cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Miller looking to control but Fedor is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fedor is in all sorts of trouble here.
Fedor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Fedor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.

Fedor manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Fedor is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fedor throws a sloppy head kick

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Miller working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Fedor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fedor tries to get out of the position.
Miller advances to half guard.
Miller is looking to advance position but Fedor won't allow it.
Miller is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Miller is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fedor can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Miller working the ground and pound effectively.
Fedor is desperately trying to improve his position but Miller has a good base and remains in mount.
Fedor wants to control but Miller is having none of it.
Fedor is trying to escape the mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller landing strikes, looking to finish!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fedor's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kassius Miller dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fedor slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Andrei Fedor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fedor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fedor throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fedor won't be happy with that.
Fedor wants to control but Miller postures up.
Miller lands some shots froms side control.
Fedor is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Miller off and has taken his back!
Miller is trying to get back to his feet but Fedor has full control of the position and if anything, Miller has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Miller is trying to shake Fedor off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Fedor won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Miller instigates a clinch.

Miller breaks from the clinch.
Fedor tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fedor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fedor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fedor shoots for a double leg takedown but Miller sprawls well. He's pushed Fedor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fedor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fedor off to one side.

Miller closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Miller lands a jab-cross combination.
Fedor throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Miller counters with an outside leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fedor.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Fedor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miller drives through with a takedown into Fedor's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Fedor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fedor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there.
Kassius Miller has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Fedor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Miller advances to half guard.
Miller drops an elbow to the side of Fedor's head.
Fedor is looking to escape.
Miller is pressing down on Fedor's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fedor is holding on for now.
Miller is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fedor is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Miller is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Miller prevents Fedor from improving his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fedor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miller is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kassius Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Horrible takedown by Fedor or perhaps it was just good defense by Miller which made him look bad.
Fedor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miller pinned against the cage. Miller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Fedor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fedor clinches up against the cage.
Miller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fedor has him pressed against the cage.

Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fedor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miller swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Fedor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fedor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Miller throws Fedor to one side and escapes!
Miller swats away the attempt to clinch by Fedor.
Fedor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck for Fedor with that takedown attempt.

Miller bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Miller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fedor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fedor can't do much from the bottom here.
Miller trying to control the position but Fedor is working away.

Fedor is looking for a sweep.
Fedor takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Fedor wants to control but Miller postures up.
Fedor is looking for a sweep.
Fedor is not content to let Miller control the position.

Fedor is trying to get back to his feet.
Fedor wants to control but Miller postures up.
Miller wants to control but Fedor is keeping him busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fedor throws Miller to one side and escapes!

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Kassius Miller.
Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
