Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raony Barcellos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Alvares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvares really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barcellos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barcellos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Alvares for as long as he can get away with.

Alvares tries for a takedown but Barcellos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Barcellos has Alvares pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Barcellos pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Alvares tumbling to the mat - Barcellos dives into Alvares's guard.

Barcellos has an Americana. Alvares didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Barcellos is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Barcellos hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
