Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Still had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matt Still! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gordon Freeman! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Still looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Still lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Still has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Freeman is looking to escape. Freeman tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Still is looking to advance position but Freeman won't allow it. Still works his way into side control. Still has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Still avoids the head kick by Freeman.
Still throws a jab but it's blocked by Freeman. Still closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Freeman wants to get back to full guard. Still stands up out of the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Still counters with a nice double leg into guard. Still decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Freeman, up you get! Still showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Freeman.
Still fails to land with a series of punches.
Still looks to land a combination. Freeman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Still looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Freeman! Still wants to finish this one by submission but Freeman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Still. Freeman in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Freeman defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Still. Still landing punches. Still punishing his opponent with strikes. Freeman can't escape the position.

Still controlling the position easily from mount. Freeman taking shots to the head. Still postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Freeman looks a forlorn figure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still controlling from mount. Still wants to control the pace but Freeman is squirming around nicely. Still in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Freeman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Still is trying to control here but Freeman has managed to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Still lands a nice short elbow. Still prevents Freeman from improving his position. Still trying to control the action but Freeman is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman has hold of Still's hands but Still slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Still stands up from half guard. Freeman looks gassed! Freeman tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Still throws a series of punches but Freeman avoids them all with ease. Still changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Freeman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Still decides to stand back up. Still throws a jab but it's blocked by Freeman. Freeman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Still lands a really nice looking cross but Freeman seems unphased.
Still shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Still lands a nice shot to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Still scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Freeman?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Still dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Freeman throws a head kick that misses. No luck for Still with that takedown attempt. Still misses with a wild combination.
Freeman tries for a takedown but Still circles away easily and Still counters with a nice double leg into side control. Freeman won't be happy with that. Freeman tries to escape but Still is in control. Still is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Freeman is trying to escape and Still transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Freeman is forced to tap! Nice work there by Still! Very nice indeed!
