Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Van Beethoven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Beethoven comes into the arena with Beethoven-Symphony 7 blaring out of the sound system. Fertit has chosen Roots Bloody Roots as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dante Fertit! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Van Beethoven . You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Van Beethoven . Fertit looks for a takedown but Van Beethoven sprawls well. Van Beethoven cracks Fertit with an open hand slap.
It looks like Dante Fertit has been cut. Fertit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Van Beethoven swats him away and circles back towards the center. Van Beethoven throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Van Beethoven wants to clinch up but Fertit keeps it at a distance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Van Beethoven throws a solid leg kick but Fertit takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Van Beethoven . Wolfgang Van Beethoven has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Fertit. Van Beethoven moves in looking to clinch but Fertit pushes him off. Van Beethoven bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fertit's head. Van Beethoven tries to clinch up but Fertit circles away and keeps his distance. Van Beethoven is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fertit shoots in looking for a takedown but Van Beethoven manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fertit's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Good exchange - Van Beethoven coming out on top. Van Beethoven throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Van Beethoven cracks Fertit with a good jab. Dante Fertit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Van Beethoven wobbles Fertit with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Van Beethoven dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Fertit to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
