Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolland Dopard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose has chosen Soothsayer as his entrance music. Billy Rose is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rolland Dopard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Rose! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dopard throws a looping overhand right but Rose ducks down to avoid it. A big left from Dopard misses. Rose throws a hook but Dopard avoids it easily. Dopard fails in his attempt to clinch. Rose slips under a jab from Dopard. Dopard doesn't manage to clinch there - Rose circles away.
Dopard shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Rose is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dopard's half guard. Rose looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Dopard blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rose. Dopard wants to sweep but Rose has passed to side control! Dopard tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rose lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dopard down.
Rose moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. It looks like Rose might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Dopard takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Rose wants to control but Dopard is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dopard tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rose presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Rose raining down shots from the mount! Rose has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! Dopard tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rose punishing his opponent with strikes. Dopard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rose on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rose scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rose with shots to the head and body - Dopard looks very uncomfortable down there. Rose trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rose takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dopard is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rose lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Dopard is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rose prevents Dopard from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rose loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dopard scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rose land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rose stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Rose! Billy Rose seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
