The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacManus is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

MacManus throws a low kick but it's checked well by Out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
MacManus wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Out.
MacManus tries to lock up and control but Out gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
MacManus is desperately trying to improve his position but Out has a good base and remains in mount.

MacManus is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Out tries to control but MacManus wriggling away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Out cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Out postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. MacManus looks a forlorn figure.

Out prevents MacManus from getting the reversal.
MacManus tries to lock up and control but Out gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tap Out showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



MacManus has closed the distance and engaged Out in a clinch.

MacManus jumps guard and drags Out to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
MacManus wants to stand but Out is controlling the position.
MacManus is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

MacManus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than MacManus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Out is squirming around, avoiding MacManus's attempts to control the action.

MacManus misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

MacManus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Out is trying to reverse the position but instead MacManus has taken his back - oops!
Out tries to escape but MacManus has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Tap Out.
