Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Phisher with that takedown attempt.
Phisher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Korgen as he jumps to the side.
Phisher throws a shot to the body.
Phisher takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Korgen misses with a hook to the body
and Phisher counters with a nice low kick that buckles Korgen's knee momentarily.
Korgen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Korgen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Korgen looks to throw a body kick
and Phisher counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Korgen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Phisher tries to pull guard but Korgen holds him up against the cage and eventually Phisher drops back down to his feet.
Dexter Korgen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Phisher.
Korgen goes for a takedown attempt but Phisher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Phisher defending well as Korgen loads up on a big left hand.
Korgen misses with a leg kick
and Phisher counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Phisher!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Korgen throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Phisher counters with a low kick, right behind Korgen 's knee.

Phisher uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Korgen.
Phisher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Korgen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Phisher tries for a takedown but Korgen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Phisher wants to clinch.
Korgen misses with a combination
and Phisher counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Phisher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Korgen pinned against the cage. Korgen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Korgen throws a leg kick
and Phisher counters with a big head kick but Korgen shrugs it off.
Korgen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Phisher drops his hands momentarily and Korgen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Scott Phisher has been cut.
Korgen misses with a body shot.
Phisher uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Korgen.
Phisher doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Phisher has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Phisher there as he acknowledges the shot.
Korgen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Korgen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Dexter Korgen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phisher has a takedown stuffed.
Phisher lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and Phisher counters by moving into the clinch.
Korgen goes for a takedown attempt but Phisher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dexter Korgen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Korgen looks to land a right hand but Phisher moved out of range.
Korgen drops Phisher with a big left hand and mounts him. Phisher is in big trouble!
Phisher is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Korgen working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Phisher looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Korgen! Submission of the night perhaps?
