And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ba throws a series of punches but Genova moves out of range.
Ba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ba throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Genova lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ba's sensitive parts.
Genova swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ba.
Genova wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Melvin Ba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ba misses with a wild body shot.
Genova lands a right hook to the body.
Ba looks gassed!

Ba takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Genova throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crunch! Genova slams his shin into Ba's torso.
Genova fakes the leg kick and cracks Ba in the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Genova. That's going to slow Ba down.
Genova fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ba to the ground. Genova is now in Ba's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Genova is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Genova advances to half guard.
Genova is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ba doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Genova.

Genova is working for a kimura but Ba is defending it quite comfortably.

Genova is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ba can do to turn this around?
Genova postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ba badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Genova around the waist but Genova pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Genova is the winner by TKO! Genova jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
