Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brent Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sekur Arian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sekur Arian!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arian bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Carter's head backwards.
Arian misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Good exchange - Arian coming out on top.
Carter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carter tries to clinch up but Arian circles away and keeps his distance.
Arian connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Arian goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Arian shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carter sprawls well. Carter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Arian gets slowly back to his feet.
Arian shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carter pinned against the cage. Carter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Arian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Arian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carter but Carter pushes him off and we're back to square one.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sekur Arian hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
