Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keith Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by I like BEER! Tom T. Hall. Weeks has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Weeks!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone fails with the takedown
and Weeks counters with a low kick, right behind Stone 's knee.
Stone looks to score with a jab to the body but Weeks is just out of range.

Weeks rushes Stone and presses him up against the cage.
Stone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Weeks pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Stone blocks a body shot from Weeks.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Weeks obliges.
Weeks misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A right handed body shot lands from Weeks.
Stone has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Weeks avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Weeks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stone throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Weeks gets caught napping as Stone dives in and scores a takedown. Weeks manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stone has gone for a leg lock! Weeks slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stone's guard.

Stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Weeks wants to stand but Stone is controlling his posture from full guard.

Stone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Stone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Weeks defends well.

Stone shoots for a takedown but Weeks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Stone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Weeks is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stone has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Stone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Weeks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Weeks is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stone asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Weeks is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Stone's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

It looks like Billy Weeks has been cut.
Stone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Stone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Weeks is trying to stand up here but Stone is controlling him well.
Stone prevents Weeks from improving his position.

Weeks kicks off Stone and gets to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Weeks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Weeks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stone.
Stone misses the shot to the body.
Weeks keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Weeks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Weeks takes a swing at Stone's ribcage but misses.
The crowd cheers as Weeks lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stone doesn't seem phased though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stone. Weeks does a little dance to reset his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keith Stone will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Weeks tries to throw a body punch but Stone avoids it by throwing Weeks back against the cage.

Stone has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Weeks regains guard immediately.
Weeks tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Stone stops Weeks from standing up.
Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weeks swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Weeks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Weeks is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Weeks stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Stone to get to his feet.

Weeks stands up and waves to Stone to follow him.
Stone moves away from the strike by Weeks.
Weeks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stone manages to avoid it.

Weeks feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stones jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice cross by Weeks.
Stone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Weeks sprawls well. Weeks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stone gets slowly back to his feet.

Weeks works over Stone's head and body with a nice combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Weeks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Weeks lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Weeks struggles to land a body shot inside as Stone controls his hands.

Weeks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Weeks rushes Stone and presses him up against the cage.

Weeks digs a right hand underneath Stone's ribcage. Stone let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Weeks has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Stone - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Weeks, and another! Stone is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Billy Weeks!
Our winner, Billy Weeks, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
