Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi slips a jab from Ce.
Gomi shoots in for a takedown but Ce shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ce misses with a looping left.
Gomi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ce connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gomi momentarily.
Gomi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ce as he jumps to the side.
Gomi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gomi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ce missing with a left hand there. Gomi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ce avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ce lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gomi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ce looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gomi controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gomi in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Ce is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Yoshiro Gomi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
