Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Boans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Oath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boans comes to the cage accompanied by Round and Round by Ratt. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boans has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Oath.
Oath scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Oath.

Oath instigates a clinch.
Oath controlling the action here for a moment.
Boans looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Oath lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Oath unloads a knee to the mid-section. Boans lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jeez, Jon Boans's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Boans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Oath scores with a one two! Boans had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jon Boans's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ken Oath! Ken Oath retains his heavyweight title!
