Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Chicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Westside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicken comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the name of. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westside misses with a body shot.
Chicken lands a high kick!
Chicken avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Westside fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chicken moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Chicken feints and then cracks Westside's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Westside down.
Chicken takes the fight into the clinch.
Chicken ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chicken no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Westside scoring with punches to the head and body.
Chicken controls Westside momentarily but Westside frees himself.
Westside postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Westside is pushing down on Chicken's leg trying to pass to half guard. Chicken is fighting to maintain full guard but Westside has managed to sneak the leg through.
Westside lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Chicken flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Chicken is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Westside scores with a couple of nice shots.
Chicken manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Chicken - that will leave a mark!
A head kick from Chicken lands but Westside takes it in his stride.

Chicken on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Westside fails to land with a series of punches.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Chicken.
Chicken stands up and beckons Westside to his feet.
Chicken lands a high kick!
A nice combination there by Chicken.
Chicken takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Westside will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chicken has Westside up against the cage in a clinch.
Westside is trying to maintain a safe position but Chicken gets an underhook and turns Westside into the cage.
Chicken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mike Chicken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Westside showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chicken.
Chicken scores with a takedown into Westside's guard.
Chicken stands and steps away. Westside gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Chicken lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Chicken throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chicken throws a head kick that half lands.
Chicken throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chicken connects with a high kick.
Chicken throws a nice inside leg kick.
Westside gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Chicken has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Chicken throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Westside works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Westside looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Chicken is looking to stand up but Westside won't let him.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Westside looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chicken is one step ahead there.
Westside has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Chicken wants to get up but he can't break Westside's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Westside takes one on the button.
Westside gets caught flat footed, as Chicken shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Chicken throws a big right hand that misses.
Westside looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chicken is one step ahead there.
Chicken postures up.
Chicken wants to stand but Westside is controlling his posture from full guard.
Westside throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Westside manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Westside controlling the pace for now.
Westside unloading with bombs!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

BOOM! Westside connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Westside landing strikes from the mount.
Chicken really wants to buck Westside off and get back to his feet.
Westside raining down shots from the mount!
Chicken is rocked!
Chicken takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Westside's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
