Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John The Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Sorenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Pitbull comes to the cage accompanied by Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight. Nate Sorenson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, John The Pitbull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Nate Sorenson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Pitbull swats away the attempt to clinch by Sorenson. The Pitbull swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Pitbull misses with a looping left. Sorenson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sorenson rushes The Pitbull and presses him up against the cage. Sorenson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The Pitbull takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The Pitbull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The Pitbull misses with a hook. Sorenson ducked under it nicely. Sorenson is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Pitbull shoots for a double leg takedown but Sorenson sprawls well. He's pushed The Pitbull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sorenson tries to clinch but The Pitbull is having none of it. Sorenson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sorenson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The Pitbull is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John The Pitbull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sorenson stops a takedown attempt from The Pitbull.
The Pitbull tries for a takedown but Sorenson manages to get underhooks.
Sorenson is trying to break the clinch but The Pitbull has him pressed against the cage. Sorenson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but The Pitbull blocks it with crossed arms. Sorenson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The Pitbull dodges an elbow strike from Sorenson.
The Pitbull jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sorenson walks away with a smile on his face. The Pitbull gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The Pitbull throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sorenson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sorenson tries to clinch there but The Pitbull circles away.
Sorenson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The Pitbull circles away from the clinch attempt and The Pitbull counters with a lovely straight right hand! This has been an exciting period of action! Sorenson wants to clinch up but The Pitbull keeps it at a distance. Sorenson thuds his shin into the meat of The Pitbull's side. The Pitbull gets tackled into the cage by Sorenson. Sorenson maintains the clinch. Sorenson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from The Pitbull.
The Pitbull keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sorenson's efforts to push away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Pitbull is looking for a takedown. The Pitbull avoids a wild elbow strike from Sorenson. The Pitbull goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sorenson prevents it.

Sorenson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The Pitbull throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. The Pitbull shoots in for a takedown but Sorenson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sorenson misses with a body kick. Nate Sorenson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sorenson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sorenson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Pitbull shoots in looking for a takedown. Sorenson tries to sprawl out of it but The Pitbull keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sorenson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sorenson rushes The Pitbull and presses him up against the cage. Sorenson with a knee to the head.
It looks like John The Pitbull has been cut. The Pitbull gets control of Sorenson's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Pitbull will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Pitbull had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sorenson defends it easily. Sorenson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of The Pitbull is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sorenson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Sorenson dominated that round. The cut man is working on John The Pitbull's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sorenson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Sorenson lands a damaging elbow. The Pitbull gets control of Sorenson's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Pitbull will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sorenson tries to stand but The Pitbull is controlling from the bottom. The Pitbull is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sorenson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sorenson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The Pitbull closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sorenson's guard. The Pitbull drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sorenson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The Pitbull has Sorenson in his guard. Sorenson got a little sloppy there for a moment and The Pitbull has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sorenson has managed to get both his arms back between The Pitbull's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Pitbull is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The Pitbull is working an open guard so Sorenson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Pitbull lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sorenson looks to clinch and The Pitbull counters with a head kick. John The Pitbull is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sorenson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The Pitbull throws a hook but Sorenson blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Pitbull waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sorenson. Sorenson thows a body shot but no joy. Sorenson has taken the fight to the clinch.
The Pitbull is working for takedown but Sorenson is calmly controlling the position for now. The Pitbull gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The Pitbull tries to free his leg and advance position but Sorenson is retaining full guard. Sorenson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! The Pitbull has picked Sorenson up and slammed him! Sorenson can't keep hold of the triangle and The Pitbull manages to pass to side control! Sorenson is pushing The Pitbull's head away, looking to escape. The Pitbull manages to hold on to the position though. The Pitbull tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no The Pitbull has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The Pitbull decides to take the fight back to the feet. John The Pitbull is winning the standup battle so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sorenson dips to his left and cracks The Pitbull with an uppercut! Sorenson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Pitbull managing to block the knees to the body from Sorenson.
The Pitbull wants a takedown but no success here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sorenson tries to land a knee to the head but The Pitbull blocks with his arms.

The Pitbull misses with a hook. The Pitbull throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sorenson tries to clinch up but The Pitbull circles away and keeps his distance. The crowd cheers as The Pitbull lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sorenson doesn't seem phased though. The Pitbull circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sorenson throws a series of strikes that have The Pitbull backpedaling.
The Pitbull drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sorenson working for a triangle but The Pitbull defends it easily.
The Pitbull wants to control from the top but Sorenson keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sorenson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst The Pitbull is controlling him. The Pitbull looking to sit in guard and control but Sorenson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Pitbull throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The Pitbull is looking for a triangle but Sorenson pushes his legs off easily.

The Pitbull pushes Sorenson off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab lands there for Sorenson. The Pitbull throws a series of punches but Sorenson moves out of range. Sorenson wants to clinch up but The Pitbull keeps it at a distance. Sorenson has closed the distance and engaged The Pitbull in a clinch.
Sorenson misses with a short punch on the inside. Sorenson stalling in the clinch but The Pitbull improves position. Sorenson lands a nice uppercut. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Pitbull drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John The Pitbull. I think The Pitbull has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
