Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Smash Mouth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mouth kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is till the bodys it the floor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wallace showed some decent athleticism there.

Wallace stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Wallace moves into the clinch.

Mouth is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wallace is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mouth to the mat. Mouth regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Wallace changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mouth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mouth connects with a nice short shot to Wallace's temple.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Mouth pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mouth shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed Mouth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mouth dives in and grabs Wallace's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes down on Mouth's head and hops out.

Wallace closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Wallace is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mouth sees it coming and defends easily.

Mouth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wallace tries to avoid it but Mouth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wallace to the ground. Wallace escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smash Mouth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mouth tries to land a front kick but Wallace steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Wallace manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Wallace pushes Mouth off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Mouth shoots in but Wallace avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wallace checks a leg kick.
Mouth closes the distance and clinches up with Wallace, looking for a takedown. Mouth pushes Wallace against the cage but Wallace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
