Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Boondocks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hopo's choice of entrance music: Bodies. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hessu Hopo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopo is looking to clinch.
Boondocks misses with a wild combination.
Boondocks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice defenses there by Boondocks.
An inside leg kick lands from Boondocks.
Hopo misses with a body punch
and Boondocks counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hopo misses with a series of wild punches.
Boondocks closes the distance and clinches.
Hopo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boondocks fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hopo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hopo looks to land a left hand but Boondocks moved out of range nicely.

Billy Boondocks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hessu Hopo.

Hopo is trying to trip Boondocks. He has hold of a leg but Boondocks is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hopo persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Hopo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boondocks tries to kick Hopo off but Hopo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hopo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hopo wants to take a breather but Boondocks is having none of it.

Hopo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boondocks is just riding it out for now. Hopo eventually gives up the hold.

Boondocks tries to kick Hopo off but Hopo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hopo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Hopo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boondocks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Boondocks tries to get to full guard but Hopo has control of the leg.
Hopo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Hopo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Boondocks knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hopo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hopo looks to land a strike but Boondocks avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hessu Hopo will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hopo connects with a jab.
Hopo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hopo swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Boondocks cracks the inside of Hopo's front leg.
Hopo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Boondocks lands a jab-cross combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boondocks throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hopo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boondocks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boondocks lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Billy Boondocks is winning the standup battle so far.
Boondocks scores with a head kick. Hopo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Hopo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boondocks fails to land with a series of punches.
Hopo is breathing heavily.
Boondocks keeps Hopo at a distance using the push kick.

Boondocks cracks Hopo with an open hand slap.
Boondocks lands a jab.
Hopo is rocked!
Boondocks lands a nice looking body shot.
Hopo is still on wobbly legs! Can Boondocks finish him?

Hopo gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Boondocks points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Hopo wakes up just in time to hear Boondocks thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Our winner, Billy Boondocks, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
