Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bullet Bookem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bullet Bookem was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Bookem both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Joe Rogan has been cut.
Rogan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bookem closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bookem lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bookem advances position into side control!
Rogan is not content to let Bookem control the position.
Bookem working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Rogan is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Bookem tries to move to mount but Rogan blocks the move with his legs.

Rogan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bookem has just dragged him back down to the mat.

and Bookem counters with a one-two to the body.

Bookem rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rogan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bookem gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Bookem fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rogan sprawls well initially but Bookem persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bookem wants to pass the guard but Rogan is defending well.
Rogan is pressing down on Bookem's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Bookem postures up in Rogan's guard and throws a big left but Rogan blocks it.
Bookem wants to stand and escape but instead Rogan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bookem pulls Rogan in close to prevent any damage.

Rogan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Bookem is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rogan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bookem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rogan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rogan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bookem lands a nice looking body shot.
Bookem fails to land with a series of punches.
Bookem lands a slapping body shot.
Rogan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bookem lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bookem shoots in for a double leg but Rogan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bookem swats away the attempt to clinch by Rogan.
Rogan fails with the takedown
enabling Bookem to counter with a crisp jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice uppercut lands for Bookem. That snapped Rogan's head back.
A low kick from Bookem misses
and Rogan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bookem's guard now.

Rogan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bookem misses with a wild body shot.
Rogan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Bookem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Bookem cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bookem swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rogan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rogan showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like Rogan is going to stand back up.

Bookem slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bookem tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bullet Bookem has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bookem bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rogan's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Bookem moves into the clinch successfully.
Bookem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bookem lands with a nice combination. Rogan backs away looking to recover.
Bookem scores with a one two! Rogan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bookem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rogan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rogan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bookem does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bullet Bookem comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
