Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Lloyed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Lloyed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Hendricks!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks thows a body shot but no joy.
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown but Lloyed shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lloyed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendricks manages to avoid it.
Josh Lloyed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hendricks closes the distance and clinches.
Lloyed lands with a right to the head.
Lloyed lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hendricks backwards.
Lloyed managing to block the knees to the body from Hendricks.
Lloyed creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Hendricks keeps control of Lloyed as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hendricks has Lloyed pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lloyed manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lloyed sizes up Hendricks with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Hendricks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hendricks throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Hendricks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hendricks holds on and takes a little breather.

Hendricks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lloyed doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lloyed manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lloyed is working for a kimura but Hendricks is defending it quite comfortably.
Lloyed thows a huge punch but Hendricks dodges it nicely.

Hendricks is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Hendricks bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lloyed's guard.
Hendricks tries to free his leg and advance position but Lloyed is retaining full guard.

Hendricks wants to control from the top but Lloyed keeps moving.

Hendricks wants to clinch but Lloyed slips to the side
and Lloyed counters with a stiff right hand.
Hendricks takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lloyed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lloyed waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hendricks.
Hendricks blocks a leg kick.
Lloyed tries to bum rush Hendricks with a series of wild strikes but Hendricks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lloyed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lloyed throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Hendricks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lloyed paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lloyed keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hendricks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lloyed avoids it really well and circles away.

and Hendricks counters with a nice uppercut.

Lloyed dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hendricks. That did some damage!
Hendricks avoids a kick to the body.
Lloyed lunges at Hendricks with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hendricks's hand.
Lloyed throws a lazy right hand but Hendricks sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lloyed misses with a double jab.
Hendricks takes a swing at Lloyed's ribcage but misses.
Hendricks throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hendricks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Josh Lloyed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Hendricks.

and Hendricks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lloyed won't be happy with that.
Hendricks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The referee asks Hendricks politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hendricks prefers to stall for the moment though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Lloyed's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lloyed dodges the ground and pound from Hendricks.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hendricks has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lloyed!
Hendricks prevents Lloyed from getting the reversal.
Hendricks misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Lloyed manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Hendricks is looking to pass Lloyed's guard but actually Lloyed recovers to full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Josh Lloyed will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Lloyed counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Hendricks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hendricks lands with a straight right. Lloyed didn't see that one coming.
Lloyed lands a nice shot that snaps Hendricks's head back.
Hendricks shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lloyed defends it nicely.
Lloyed slaps away a takedown attempt from Hendricks, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hendricks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lloyed can pounce on him.

The crowd cheers as Lloyed lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hendricks doesn't seem phased though.

Lloyed throws a nice outside leg kick.
Crunch! Lloyed slams his shin into Hendricks's torso.
Lloyed scores with a spinning back kick!
A combination from Lloyed does no damage.
Josh Lloyed is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lloyed cracks Hendricks with an open hand slap.
Lloyed scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Hendricks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hendricks moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lloyed throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lloyed misses with a double jab.
Hendricks lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Lloyed here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Hendricks changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lloyed looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hendricks is looking to take a break and control but Lloyed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hendricks with the ground and pound but Lloyed regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Hendricks with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Lloyed controlling the position for now.
