Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusko Djordjevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Djordjevic has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Dusko Djordjevic is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dusko Djordjevic!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djordjevic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Djordjevic looks gassed!

Kingston scores with a takedown into Djordjevic's guard.
Kingston sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Jack Kingston has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Djordjevic gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kingston slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Djordjevic keeping full guard, as Kingston tries to pass.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Kingston stands up and waves to Djordjevic to follow him.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kingston is defended easily by Djordjevic.
Kingston shoots in looking for a takedown. Djordjevic tries to sprawl out of it but Kingston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Djordjevic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kingston closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kingston lands in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kingston seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Djordjevic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kingston thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kingston lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kingston slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kingston changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Djordjevic tries to avoid it but Kingston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Djordjevic to the ground. Djordjevic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kingston throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kingston shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Djordjevic sprawls well. Djordjevic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kingston gets slowly back to his feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kingston lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Djordjevic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Djordjevic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kingston takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Djordjevic bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kingston lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Djordjevic lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A solid leg kick lands there for Djordjevic.

Kingston moves in looking to clinch but Djordjevic pushes him off.

Nice takedown defense from Djordjevic. No joy for Kingston on that attempt.
Djordjevic scores with a hook.
Djordjevic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kingston throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Djordjevic was covering up waiting for the punch and Kingston finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Djordjevic is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kingston moves into the clinch.

Kingston fails with a takedown attempt.
Kingston throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Djordjevic's waist but Djordjevic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kingston off to one side.
Djordjevic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Djordjevic wants it to stay on the feet.
Djordjevic moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Djordjevic misses with a jab, cross combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Djordjevic tries to hold on but Kingston postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kingston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kingston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Djordjevic's guard.

Kingston is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kingston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Djordjevic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Jack Kingston wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Djordjevic pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kingston bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kingston tries to score with some ground and pound. Djordjevic controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Djordjevic is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Djordjevic is not content to let Kingston control the position.

Kingston is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Djordjevic is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Jack Kingston is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
