Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reiko Saito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mourgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mourgan has chosen "Breaking The Law" by Judas Priest as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Mourgan!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saito thumps Mourgan with a low kick.
Mourgan gets a double leg takedown into Saito's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mourgan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mourgan stands up over Saito, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mourgan stays in close to Saito's body and controls the position.
Mourgan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Saito knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mourgan on the ground.
Mourgan is working Saito over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Saito can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mourgan controls the pace.
Mourgan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mourgan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Saito takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Saito could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mourgan gets a takedown into half guard.
Saito wants to get back to his feet.
Mourgan is taking a breather. Saito says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Saito tries to get to full guard but Mourgan has control of the leg.
Mourgan passes to full mount!
Mourgan controlling the pace for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mourgan lands a big shot there that rocks Saito but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Saito takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mourgan content just to control the position here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mourgan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
