Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noobie Nooberson! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nooberson throws a half hearted mid kick. Kane connects with a leg kick. Nooberson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Nooberson throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like John Kane has been cut. Kane lands with a slapping head kick. Nooberson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kane.

and Kane counters with an inside leg kick. Kane wants to clinch. A solid leg kick lands there for Kane.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nooberson lands with a shot to the body. Nooberson misses with a double jab.
Nooberson misses with a hook. Kane ducked under it nicely. A shot to the body from Kane misses and Kane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nooberson lands with an overhand left. Nooberson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane missing with a left hand there. Nooberson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nice defenses there by Nooberson. Kane looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Kane tries a head kick but it misses.
Nooberson takes one to the chin there. Nooberson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kane was well out of range. Poor timing from Nooberson. Kane throws a sloppy head kick and Nooberson moves out of range easily. Kane throws a head kick but Nooberson moves out of range.

Nooberson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kane sprawling to the canvas! Kane rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nooberson finish him?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nooberson throws a shot to the body.
Kane is breathing heavily. Nooberson finds Kane's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Kane flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Nooberson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kane will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Noobie Nooberson!
