The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tappura swings for the body but Vanagandr moves out of range.
Tappura ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tappura connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vanagandr. Vanagandr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vanagandr looks to land a combination but Tappura avoids it well.
Vanagandr swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tappura counters with a slapping leg kick.
Tappura bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vanagandr's head backwards.

It looks like Eorl Vanagandr has been cut.
Tappura wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vanagandr sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
No joy there for Tappura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tappura defending well as Vanagandr loads up on a big left hand.
Tappura keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vanagandr.
Vanagandr looks to land a combination but Tappura avoids it well.
Tappura thuds his shin into the meat of Vanagandr's side.

Vanagandr on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Tappura scores with a push kick.
Tappura pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Vanagandr back to the cage. Tappura follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Taisto Tappura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters circling a little - Tappura finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Tappura scores with a nice body kick.
Tappura connects with a solid leg kick.
Tappura moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Tappura lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tappura scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tappura lands with a kick to the ribs.
Tappura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vanagandr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tappura lands a big right hand that sends Vanagandr crashing to the mat! Tappura stays standing though and waves Vanagandr back to his feet!

Vanagandr is rocked!
Tappura throws a quick head kick that knocks Vanagandr silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Tappura is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
