Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killa Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clubbed To Death - Rob Dougan . Killa Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and clinches.
Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Thompson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Thompson walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Thompson clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Thompson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Thompson shows good takedown defense.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
James Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killa Jones.
Thompson missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Thompson misses the shot to the body.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Thompson circles away.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters circling - Thompson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thompson looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Jones misses with a wild combination.

Jones ducks under a wild hook from Thompson.
James Thompson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thompson misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.

and Jones moves into the clinch.
Thompson stops a takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thompson misses with a straight left.
Jones misses with a body shot
enabling Thompson to counter with a crisp jab.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Thompson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Thompson swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones slips under a jab from Thompson.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thompson misses with a two punch combination.
Thompson scores with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A lazy left from Thompson finds it's target.
Jones slips a straight right by Thompson.
Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones tries to clinch there but Thompson circles away.
Thompson drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Thompson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jones is rocked!
Jones is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Thompson just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Jones has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Thompson!
A less than humble James Thompson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
