Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Metaxa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raimo Posti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raimo Posti is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metaxa takes one to the chin there.
Metaxa moves away from the strike by Posti.
Metaxa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Posti throws out the jab.
Posti misses with a jab, cross combination.
Raimo Posti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Metaxa avoids a strike by Posti and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Posti's guard! Fantastic escape!
Posti working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Metaxa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Metaxa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Metaxa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Posti has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Posti cracks Metaxa with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Metaxa is bucking up trying to escape but Posti cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Posti jumps guard and drags Metaxa to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Posti has his foot on Metaxa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Metaxa works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Metaxa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Posti has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Posti has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Metaxa uses from the top position.

Posti has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Metaxa doesn't defend quickly enough and Posti has managed to lock this one up! Can Metaxa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Posti on a fantastic submission victory.

Raimo Posti really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Katukauppa.com logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
