Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Fernhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsumi Fujinami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujinami drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fujinami trying to control the position from guard on top but Fernhart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fujinami really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fernhart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fujinami scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fernhart looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fernhart escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fujinami gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fujinami is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fernhart has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fujinami should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fernhart has tightened it up now! Fujinami should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
