The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Lynch does no damage.
Lynch lands with a hook. Jj tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lynch misses with a straight right.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Lynch.


It looks like B Jj has been cut.
Lynch fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lynch scores with a nice hook to the head.
Lynch taking a breather.
Lynch with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Lynch throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jj blocks it with crossed arms.
Lynch tries to stall but Jj uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Lynch tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jj avoids it.
Lynch lands a knee to the head.
Lynch displaying some good clinch control by pressing Jj up against the cage.
Lynch misses with a punch to the body.
Jj stalling.
The referee is keeping an eye on Lynch - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

The crowd are getting on Jj's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Lynch stalls.
Jj controlling the action here for a moment.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by B Jj.
Jj tries to land a front kick but Lynch steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Lynch closes the distance and pushes Jj back into the cage.

Lynch is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jj is defending well for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lynch's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Jj just leaning against Lynch, taking a breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jj misses with a body kick.
Jj walks into a jab.
Lynch misses with a double jab
and Jj counters with a stiff right hand.
Lynch lands a jab to the nose.
Steven Lynch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lynch moves into range and clinches up with Jj.
Lynch lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lynch looking to throw knees to the head but Jj is blocking nicely.
Lynch throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lynch using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jj has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A battle for position here, against the cage.

Lynch lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


Jj is rocked!
Lynch misses with a knee strike.
Jj is still on wobbly legs! Can Lynch finish him?
Lynch tries to land a knee to the head but Jj blocks with his arms.
Jj seems to have recovered his senses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jj.
Lynch trying to stall but Jj improves his position.
Lynch is controlling Jj's neck. Lynch unleashes a big knee up the middle! And another! Jj goes down! Can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6... he's not going to make it! 9,10. It's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Steven Lynch!
