Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 185 - 0, fighting out of London, Xv Jobber vX! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Knobbs! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Knobbs.
Jobber vX is rocked! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jobber vX is looking for a sweep. Oh Jobber vX is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jobber vX wants to control but Knobbs postures up. You can see the frustration on Jobber vX's face as Knobbs controls the position. Knobbs should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jamie Knobbs. Knobbs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jobber vX sprawls well initially but Knobbs persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Knobbs is figuring out what he wants to do next. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. It looks like Knobbs might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jamie Knobbs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Knobbs gets the takedown into side control. Jobber vX can't do much from the bottom here. Knobbs remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jobber vX is looking for a sweep. Knobbs controls the position from side control.
Jamie Knobbs has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Knobbs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jobber vX's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jamie Knobbs wasn't active enough on the ground. Knobbs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jobber vX not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Jamie Knobbs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Knobbs shoots in and bounces Jobber vX off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Knobbs controlling from the top position. Jobber vX really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jobber vX not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Knobbs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knobbs lands in his opponent's guard. Knobbs controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jamie Knobbs. Jobber vX throws a sloppy head kick and Knobbs moves out of range easily. Knobbs is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jobber vX's half guard. Knobbs sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Knobbs closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jobber vX to the mat! Jobber vX manages to get full guard. Knobbs not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that's the end of the fight! Jamie Knobbs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Knobbs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
