Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bratts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Power's choice of entrance music: X gonna give it to ya - DMX. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bratts rushes Power and presses him up against the cage.
Bratts leaning against his opponent.
Power misses with a punch on the inside.

Power doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bratts has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Power after a bit of a struggle.

Power takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Bratts leaves Power with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Power shoots in but Bratts avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Power has a takedown stuffed.
Jack Bratts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Power.
Bratts swings for the body but Power moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Bratts. Those never looked like landing.
Power shoots for a takedown but Bratts saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bratts throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Power.

Power swings wildly with an uppercut but Bratts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Power lands a hook that snaps the head of Bratts backwards.
Bratts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Power has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Bratts is looking to control Power's arms but Power gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bratts has his back to the cage.

Bratts lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
That has opened up Thomas Power's cut even more.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Power is trying to break free.
Bratts is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Power is keeping busy.

Power tries to stall but Bratts uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bratts.
Power doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bratts has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Power lands a left hand.
Bratts blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bratts keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Power's efforts to push away.
A body shot lands from Bratts.
Power manages to break the clinch.
Power blocks a head kick by Bratts.
Bratts closes the distance and clinches up with Power, looking for a takedown. Bratts pushes Power against the cage but Power circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bratts works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The cut above Thomas Power's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bratts misses with a body shot.
Power stuffs the takedown attempt from Bratts. Bratts gets slowly back to his feet.
Power shoots in but no luck this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck for Power with that takedown attempt.
Good exchange - Power coming out on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Bratts tries to clinch
and Power counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bratts!

Power gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Power looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Power has his foot on Bratts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bratts works his way back into a safe position though.

Power wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bratts manages to pass to side control.

Bratts seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bratts wants to take a breather but Power is having none of it.

Power is looking to escape.
Bratts is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thomas Power's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
