McPot is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by D.T.A.P. - Nephew. Cody Willis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis throws a series of punches but McPot moves out of range.
McPot throws out a powerful jab.
Donk. McPot catches Willis right on the button with a cross.
McPot falls off balance throwing a combination

and Willis counters with a left and a right that hurts McPot! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Willis jumps into full mount!

McPot is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Willis get's back to his feet.
Willis on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McPot chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McPot throws a shot to the body.
McPot scores with a hook to the body. Willis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McPot lands a nice looking body shot.
McPot throws a leg kick which misses Willis's front leg but catches the back leg as Willis tries to avoid it.
A jab lands there for McPot.
McPot misses with a double jab.
McPot is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Willis takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McPot jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McPot lands a nice shot to the body.
McPot lands a lovely overhand right.
Smokey McPot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Willis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McPot counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
McPot fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McPot thows a body shot but no joy.
McPot pushes Willis away with a front kick.
McPot throws a series of strikes that have Willis backpedaling.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McPot throws a hook but Willis blocks it.
Willis blocks the body kick.
Willis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McPot can pounce on him.

Sloppy strikes from Willis. Those never looked like landing.
McPot finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
McPot throws a nice inside leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by McPot. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McPot.
McPot dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Willis. That did some damage!
Willis throws a series of punches but McPot moves out of range.
Willis avoids the head kick by McPot.
McPot wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Willis takes one on the button.
A slapping leg kick lands for McPot.
Willis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

McPot smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McPot misses the shot to the body.
Willis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McPot.
McPot throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Willis slips a jab and a cross from McPot.
A left and a right from McPot both land. Nice combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from McPot. Willis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Willis blocks a jab.
McPot works Willis's body with a nice hook.
Willis lands with a nice body punch.
McPot moves away from the strike by Willis.
McPot walks into a straight right hand from Willis.

A low kick from McPot is predictable there
enabling Willis to counter with a crisp jab.
Willis scores with a jab to the jaw.
McPot fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Willis.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McPot lands with an overhand left.
McPot uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Willis has time to react.
Willis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McPot jabs Willis to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McPot throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Willis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McPot is still on wobbly legs! Can Willis finish him?

It looks like Smokey McPot has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McPot walks straight into a right hand from Willis - that's dropped him! Willis jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McPot from any more punishment! McPot complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
