Rodalgo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ace of Spades - By Motorhead. Michel Rodalgo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michel Rodalgo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodalgo throws out a loose jab but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Parker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Parker throws a push kick but Rodalgo slaps the foot to one side.
Parker throws a wild body kick that Rodalgo sees coming a mile off.
A head kick misses from Parker.
Parker thows a body shot but no joy.
Parker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Parker.
Rodalgo misses with a hook
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Rodalgo misses the body punch
and Parker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Parker misses the shot to the body.
Parker throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rodalgo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Parker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Parker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Parker throws a leg kick which misses Rodalgo's front leg but catches the back leg as Rodalgo tries to avoid it.

Rodalgo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parker moves away.
Peter Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rodalgo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parker bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Parker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rodalgo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rodalgo throws an overhand right that lands on Parker's shoulder, as Parker tries to avoid the shot.
Rodalgo looks to land a left hand but Parker moved out of range nicely.

Parker ducks under a wild hook from Rodalgo.

Parker clinches.
Rodalgo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Parker is pushing Rodalgo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Parker pushes Rodalgo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rodalgo can't find room to land a body shot as Parker controls the action.
Rodalgo prevents Parker from breaking the clinch.
Parker lands a hook to the side of the head.
Parker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Parker pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Parker is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rodalgo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Parker to the mat. Parker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Rodalgo wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving.

Rodalgo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Parker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Parker looks to land a body kick but Rodalgo moved away.
Parker throws a leg kick which misses Rodalgo's front leg but catches the back leg as Rodalgo tries to avoid it.
Rodalgo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rodalgo tests Parker's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Parker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rodalgo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michel Rodalgo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Parker scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rodalgo manages to mount him!
Parker is looking to improve his position but Rodalgo isn't that keen on the idea.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodalgo working away from the top, dropping strikes.


Parker is rocked!
Rodalgo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Parker scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rodalgo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rodalgo stands and salutes the crowd.
