Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between lilian andalou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Lindblad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that lilian andalou has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily lilian andalou seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
andalou wants to clinch up but Lindblad keeps it at a distance.
Lindblad rushes andalou and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for andalou.
Lindblad wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but andalou has him pressed against the cage.
andalou misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lindblad wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
andalou lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lindblad backwards.
Lindblad manages to break the clinch.
andalou wants to clinch
and Lindblad counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lindblad wants to pass to mount but andalou is defending the position.
Lindblad lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lindblad drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and andalou dives on top into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lindblad has control of andalou's left arm, preventing andalou from doing any damage.

Lindblad is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindblad had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. andalou is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lindblad Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take andalou's back instead.

Lindblad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. andalou swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Lindblad counters with an inside leg kick.

and Lindblad holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
andalou lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, andalou scores with a nice short uppercut.

Lindblad's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

with the fighters clinched against the cage, andalou creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Lindblad counters with a shoot takedown. andalou fights it but they end up in guard.

andalou tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lindblad wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Andreas Lindblad showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lindblad cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lindblad takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lindblad jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… andalou is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by andalou and Lindblad has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
andalou is not content to let Lindblad control the position.

Andreas Lindblad comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lindblad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
