The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo tries to land a front kick but Mann steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mann takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ronaldo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mann manages to avoid it.
Ronaldo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Danga de danga de dang - Ronaldo scores with a four punch combination!
Mann is rocked!
Ronaldo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mann is still on wobbly legs! Can Ronaldo finish him?
Ronaldo tries a head kick but it misses.
Ronaldo swinging wildly here.
Mann seems to have recovered his senses.
Mann on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ronaldo. Ronaldo obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mann tries to clinch there but Ronaldo circles away.
Mann fails with a takedown attempt.
Left hook, right uppercut from Ronaldo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ronaldo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ronaldo.
Ronaldo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Mann has a takedown stuffed.
Mann looks to clinch
and Ronaldo counters with a stiff right hand.
Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No joy there for Ronaldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mann wants to clinch but Ronaldo slips to the side
and Ronaldo counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Mann badly! Ronaldo follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Mann out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Ronaldo finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cristiano Ronaldo!
