Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Bullwinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Houses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Houses will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rocky Bullwinkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Houses!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Houses closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bullwinkle did well to prevent Houses getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bullwinkle tries to get to full guard but Houses has control of the leg.
Houses is looking to advance position but Bullwinkle won't allow it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bullwinkle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bullwinkle keeping moving, preventing Houses from controlling successfully.
Bullwinkle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bullwinkle looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bullwinkle looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Houses passes into side control.
Bullwinkle tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Houses wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bullwinkle is trying to work for a sweep but Houses has mounted him!
Bullwinkle is trying desperately to improve position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bullwinkle wants to control but Houses is having none of it.
Bullwinkle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Houses can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bullwinkle is looking to escape.

Houses fails to take his opponent's back.
Houses scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Bullwinkle is looking to improve his position but Houses isn't that keen on the idea.

Bullwinkle tries to hold on but Houses postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Houses looking to control but Bullwinkle is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Bullwinkle bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Houses trying to keep a closed guard but Bullwinkle is proving a slippery customer.

Bullwinkle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Houses is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bullwinkle, into his guard.

Houses stands up from Bullwinkle's guard - Houses perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bullwinkle misses with an uppercut
and Houses connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bullwinkle lands a nice shot that snaps Houses's head back.


Houses is rocked!
Houses doesn't manage to clinch there - Bullwinkle circles away.
Houses is still on wobbly legs! Can Bullwinkle finish him?

Houses shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Houses tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bullwinkle controls his leg.

Bullwinkle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Houses pulls his head out easily.
Houses seems to have recovered his senses.
Houses is trying to control. Bullwinkle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bullwinkle throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Bullwinkle tries to get to full guard but Houses has control of the leg.
Houses trying to control from half guard but Bullwinkle is working away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Houses is working for a kimura but Bullwinkle is defending it quite comfortably.
Bullwinkle moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dave Houses will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Houses bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bullwinkle tries to buck Houses off but Houses is having none of it.
Houses trying to control the position but Bullwinkle is working away.
Bullwinkle gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bullwinkle trying to control from the bottom.
Bullwinkle is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Houses is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Houses not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Houses is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bullwinkle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Houses.

Houses moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Bullwinkle.
Bullwinkle gets back to half guard.

Bullwinkle looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Houses seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bullwinkle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bullwinkle is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Houses's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Houses's back!

Bullwinkle has got one arm under Houses's chin. This could be trouble... Houses trying to control the other hand but Bullwinkle gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Houses has tapped out! The fight is over!
