Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randon Rett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Thunstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rett comes to the cage accompanied by I want you to die.. The crowd seem to be enjoying Thunstrom's choice of entrance music: Prodigy - Spitfire. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lars Thunstrom!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunstrom keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Rett shoots in but Thunstrom avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Thunstrom lands a slapping body shot.
Thunstrom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rett.
Lars Thunstrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rett steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thunstrom.
Thunstrom throws a big shot that misses.
Rett fails with a takedown attempt.
Rett throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rett connects with a single shot there.
Thunstrom gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rett to score an easy takedown into full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Thunstrom is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rett defends well.
Thunstrom working for submissions but it's allowed Rett to get to half guard.
Rett working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Rett takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rett thows a huge punch but Thunstrom dodges it nicely.
Thunstrom is looking for a sweep. Rett is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Thunstrom keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Thunstrom slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rett sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Rett scoring with some ground and pound.
Thunstrom wants to sweep here but Rett controlling him for the moment.
Thunstrom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rett manages to get himself to full guard.
Thunstromis looking to pass into half guard but Rett pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rett is in guard.
Rett trying to control but Thunstrom is working from the bottom.

Thunstrom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rett defends it easily.
Rett preventing the sweep.
Rett throws a big right hand that misses.
Rett stopping the sweep attempt from Thunstrom.
Rett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thunstrom is keeping the position for now.
Thunstrom has his foot on Rett's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rett works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rett working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Thunstrom has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rett has passed into side control.
Rett slows the pace down.
Rett taking a break here but Thunstrom is having none of it and regains half guard.
Thunstrom is pressing down on Rett's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Rett looking to sit in guard and control but Thunstrom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thunstrom sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rett's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Thunstrom is looking to pass Rett's guard but actually Rett recovers to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lars Thunstrom will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rett waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Thunstrom.
Thunstrom lands a jab.
Rett takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Thunstrom just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab-cross combination lands for Thunstrom and sends Rett crashing to the mat! Thunstrom follows him down to the mat - Rett regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Rett is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thunstrom maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Rett could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Thunstrom has cracked it and Rett is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Thunstrom!
