Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ace comes to the cage accompanied by holiday. Ace has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Ace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Bishop ! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ace fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ace has a takedown stuffed. Ace looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ace is breathing heavily. Bishop moves into full guard.
Ace pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bishop is keeping the position for now. Bishop working a defensive guard here.
Bishop lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ace! Bishop looking for a guillotine from mount but Ace is having none of it. Bishop looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ace is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Bishop looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Bishop prevents Ace from getting the reversal. Ace is working hard here to advance position. Bishop landing strikes, looking to finish! Bishop trying to control but Ace is having none of it. Ace manages to regain half guard. Good work. Ace is trying to stand back up but Bishop is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop wants to control but Ace is keeping him busy. Ace has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bishop is working away from the top position though. Ace is trying to get back to full guard. Bishop is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ace doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bishop .
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ace looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bishop is thwarting Ace's attempts to control the position. Ace is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ace has one foot on Bishop 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Ace shoots in looking for a takedown. Bishop tries to sprawl out of it but Ace keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bishop manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Ace. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ace closes the distance and clinches up with Bishop , looking for a takedown. Ace pushes Bishop against the cage but Bishop circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ace fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ace stuffs the takedown. Ace shoots and misses and Bishop counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ace fails with the takedown and Bishop counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ace is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bishop 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bishop 's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Bishop defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Ace's arms. Bishop tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ace working for a submission but Bishop is keeping him at bay. Ace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ace can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bishop is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by Ace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bishop sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Ace seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Bishop dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ace looks to land a combination but Bishop avoids it well. Bishop shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bishop was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ace has given up his back.
Bishop connects with a big shot to the side of Ace's head.
Ace is trying to defend against the choke here but Bishop has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Bishop Tightens the hold and Ace taps out furiously! Bishop displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
