Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Nieddds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Dog Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vachon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gros jambon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bobby Nieddds could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mad Dog Vachon's chin.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nieddds avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vachon dives in and grabs Nieddds's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nieddds pushes down on Vachon's head and hops out.
Nieddds scores with a decent looking hook.
Vachon moves to clinch but Nieddds breaks away
and Nieddds counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A punch combination from Nieddds misses.
Vachon closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nieddds counters with a three punch combo that has Vachon backing up. Vachon nods at Nieddds to acknowledge the strikes.
Vachon dodges the punch combination from Nieddds.
Nieddds lands with a right hand.
Vachon avoids the body shot from Nieddds.

Vachon shoots for a takedown but Nieddds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Nieddds counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nieddds scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vachon tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nieddds counters with a series of strikes. Vachon will be more careful next time no doubt.

Vachon looks for a takedown but Nieddds sprawls well.
Nieddds throws out a powerful jab.
Nieddds stalks Vachon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vachon's face. Vachon staggers backwards, shaken.
Vachon walks into a stiff left hand from Nieddds.

and Nieddds counters with a two punch combo.
Vachon is rocked!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vachon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nieddds manages to avoid it.
Vachon is still on wobbly legs! Can Nieddds finish him?

Vachon seems to have recovered his senses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nieddds leaves Vachon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Nieddds avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nieddds looks to land a combination but Vachon avoids it well.
Nieddds lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vachon circles away quickly and effectively.

Nieddds lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vachon at a distance.
Vachon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nieddds sprawls well. Nieddds wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vachon gets slowly back to his feet.
Nieddds feints a jab promting Vachon to slip. Nieddds then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vachon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Vachon throws a solid leg kick but Nieddds takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vachon.

and Vachon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nieddds throws a series of strikes that have Vachon backpedaling.
Nieddds stuffs the takedown.
Vachon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Nieddds is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Vachon.

Vachon drops his hands momentarily and Nieddds takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Nieddds cracks Vachon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Vachon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Nieddds is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vachon has just dragged him back down to the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
No joy there for Nieddds, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Vachon shoots in looking for a takedown. Nieddds tries to sprawl out of it but Vachon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nieddds manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vachon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nieddds manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nieddds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vachon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nieddds fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nieddds comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vachon.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Nieddds smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Vachon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mad Dog Vachon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Vachon is thwarting Nieddds's attempts to control the position.
Vachon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bobby Nieddds is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nieddds tries to kick Vachon off but Vachon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vachon not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nieddds, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
